Samsung french door refrigerator ice dispenser flapper problems.

Condensation moisture or mold between the refrigerator doors. Close the ice maker flap. If the flap on the ice dispenser is not closing properly it allows warm air to enter the freezer compartment and causes frost build up in the freezer. Periodically the ice maker flap in the door will cycle continously opening and closing.

This appears to be a common long standing samsung problem but haven t found a fix online. The suit says owners of the affected samsung fridges have dealt with among other troubles. Nothing seems to reliably work to stop it opening closing door pushing ice water dispenser buttons tried everything i can think of. Samsung refrigerators produce about 120 ice cubes per day.

To check the flap open the left side door and look at the black flap inside the ice chute. A proposed class action lawsuit filed back in february 2017 alleges these ice makers are defective and have caused substantial and sometimes costly problems for consumers. For example you should check if the water line is connected correctly and if the water filter is clogged. If the flap is in the correct position it is flush against the housing.
