If you see a picture when the right turn signal is activated the monitor is good and the right camera is the problem. Plugging the camera into the aux dash cable rather than video feed is a common problem with home installs. I would much rater use my mirrors and have the camera stay in rear view when i am passing another vehicle. If this does not cure the problem switch the right and left camera inputs.
